Pottery with Janae

 Instructor: Janae Ledbetter

You will have 4 classes to create and 1 additional class to glaze, for a total of 5 classes. There are 3 morning and 3 evening sessions available.

Cost: $120 each session (includes supply fee and firings.)

Tuesday Evening classes: 6:30 – 8:30pm – 8 students

Dates: Wednesday Mornings: 10am – noon – 5 students

Drawing with Madeline

Instructor: Madeline Harris

This will be a seminar lead by Madeline Harris! A local artist who is VERY passionate about figure drawing and fundamentals of art. In this seminar there will be a fully clothed model we will draw for two hours. Poses will be 1-5 minutes with breaks and a 30 minute short lesson at the very beginning. Over the two hours we will talk about gesture, form, anatomy, and design. This is for anyone interested in figure drawing or learning the very basics of drawing!

  • Time:  6 – 8pm
  • Cost: $5 donation
  • Supplies: Bring your favorite medium! I suggest large paper or sketchbook and pencil (colored is great) or charcoal. Anyone pursuing digital work is welcome to bring their tablets.

Cyanotype Photography with Brenda

What: Learn how to do cyanotype photography on watercolor paper with plants and different dyes and additives to make unique art.

  • When: Sunday September 19,  from 1-4 pm (rain date Sept. 25).
  • Price: $35 which includes all supplies.  You can bring your own plants, or you can use the ones I will be bringing.
  • Limit to 8 students

Paint these hay bundles by the barn.

Acrylic Paint with Diane

Instructor: Diane Burrell

Students will work on their own paintings or one of mine.  We will focus on selecting a composition and color palette from your photos, pictures and sketchbook ideas. All classes will include demonstrations and worksheets.

    • Session 2: Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28
  • Time: Evening classes: 6:30pm – 9pm

Instructor: Pam Rowley

Learn how to use Deco Clay, a lightweight, air dry clay to make a rose, sunflower, and leaf and arrange in a pumpkin to make a fall centerpiece. This is a Beginner class.
